I have chosen to express my visions through landscapes because of the mystery and complexity of the western vistas. I feel that I can still see and experience the dynamic changes of the land that have occurred over eons through water and wind erosion and volcanic activities as well as human intervention. The land to me is a living, changing element and is the spiritual stimulus for my paintings
